Don't be one of those hypocritical cops. If you are going into law enforcement then obey all laws including abstaining from juice. If you want to juice, then don't become a cop.

That's pure BS. I know many cops that juice. I don't know ANYBODY in SWAT who doesn't juice.

Police officers do good things for all people all the time. Its just the bad things that we remember. I think you are getting into law enforcement for the wrong reasons. We dont need cops looking for bitches in tight shirts, but we do need them to get the drunks off the road so our loved ones can make it home safely. Just one thought in the many!!!!!

I have moved to this small town in the middle of fuckin no where, cause i was working for a multi national company that had an office there. But 4 weeks ago, It closed a lot of its offices and laid off quite a few people.

I was one of them. I made some friends while i have been here and one them is a Cop who said that they are seeking some new guys in the sherrif Dept. Most of the guys that worked over there are old, out of shape hillbillies, who look more like farmers than policemen.

He feels, if i have a clean record, which i do. I'm everything the department wants. Big, Strong, Tough looking and from a big city.

At first i thought no Way but now i'm like. Ok, should be fun. There's only a little more than 50,000 people living in this town and it might be fun driving around, sitting in the car, eating and drinking protien shakes and giving parking tickets. Quite surprisingly, the starting pay is pretty decent too, not to mention a lot of benefits. I just hope i catch a big truck of juice. HEHE, hey everyone. This year, THe JUICE is on me HEHE.

I went to see the sheriff today and the guys i saw there are, i have to say disgustingly out of shape. Anyway, let see how it goes. I hope there's a good gym in town. Oh by the way. The girls are awesome. Young single moms are all over the place.

What are the requirements of this department? Physical test,written test, oral board, psych test, degree?. curious to know how they select their candidates. Oh and by the way I know very well all the perks about being a police officer other than that why are you thinking about a carrier as a police officer?

p.s. police officers don't call themselves "cops"

All I was talking about was integrity, honesty and ethics. In my book a cop breaking the law (for whatever reason) is no better than a priest having sex (no matter what the gender).


You know upfront what the expectations are and if you cannot abide by them then don't get involved with it.
