Just turned in an application to be a cop

Its all over fellas. I got an another interview from a good company. I'm off to the big city and out of this rat hole. Thanks to everyone for their opinions

Most of the cops around here are cops because they have no other skills or they rather get paid squat because they are control freaks.

Not in the northeast! in most places it's very difficult to get hired on a department. Starts with physical assessment , written test, oral board, psych test, complete back ground check including interview of neighbor's and family... and so on.

I know what goes on in the world of policing as I've been there and done it, so I know what goes on and what can be done, and what you describe is a fantasy world. If in fact you are a cop, sound like a wannabe to me, then those you "serve" would be better off without you. You're the hypocrite everyone speaks of and are the reason no-one has respect for officers anymore. If in fact you are a cop, the look on your face will be priceless the day another officer puts you in cuffs and you thought you could do whatever you wanted.

Your badge is an honor and a privilege, it doesn't give you a RIGHT to do anything. Just a matter of time before you realize that, but then again, I just don't believe you.
