normally Im not such a prick,but I had just worked like 15.5 hrs which is a double shift for me during the week and I tried to kindly explain I needed to go back to bed as I was nearly asleep when they rang,but they were persistant bitches so I got mean,oops

b) answer the door naked; they won't stick around long especially if they have children accompanying them

c) bribe them; a small contribution and an exuse usually sees then on their way

d) answer the door screaming down the telephone like you're in the middle of a family crisis

e) send them onto a neighbour you don't like; explain that you're not interested but that you know of a close neighbour who is very interested
