The whole time!!

When I got my 2nd hole done I thought nah I dont need to clean then for 6 weeks and one ended up getting infected, so do clean then for the full six weeks and keep turning them too. I know its a pain in the ass, but it will be worth it in the long run!

doubles - i assume you got your lobes pierced and not the upper ear?? if so, six weeks and clean them every day like cutiegirl said.

make sure to clean any new earring you buy before putting them in too.

if you got your cartilage pierced, make sure you take care of it! that can become infected very easily!
