It's not about putting a woman on a pedestal, it's about a man's desire for sex. Let me ask you a general question: have you ever turned down sex with a woman you are in a relationship with because you didn't feel like it? I know I never have. I've turned down women I've just met, and women I weren't dating, but never someone I was involved with and cared about, not even if I was sick or injured. In my experience, most men who turn down sex with women they are involved with do so because they are either 1) not interested in her anymore, or 2) getting it from somewhere else.

yes i have. id rather have no sex than bad sex. besides, the occasional turn down and keeping your partner hanging/frustrated just makes it better next time. sex on tap isnt always a good thing

Sex with someone you love is never bad. It's not always mind blowing or the best you've ever had, but being intimate with a woman you love is always worth the time and effort IMHO. If there's one thing I can't tolerate is a woman who uses sex as a tool or a weapon. NOTHING is more frustrating than a sexual tease who dangles sex like a carrot in front of a rabbit. If you have to fight or "work" to have sex then there is a problem with the relationship. I don't have time for mind games, life is too short for that kind of crap.

Golden: I think Forge is addressing women who use sex as a club, or cut guys off whenever they are angry or upset.

I also agree with Forge about guys notwanting to with their women. The only time that has happened with me is once when I was dating someone I liked a lot, but just didnt feel a strong attraction to sexually. It wasn't anything with her, she looked great, and was enthusiastic. Just that spark was missing. I had to break up with her because it was embarassing always telling her no, even though I liked the relationship otherwise. I think I still just had my ex on my mind at the time
