Are you suggesting that his course of action was acceptable? Now, I'm not asking you if you can understand why he did it. I'm sure you can understand why "mass murderer A" killed X number of people, but you wouldn't consider it acceptable.
Is this police officers actions acceptable, yes or no? If no, then what is it that you're trying to accomplish by arguing with me?
lol...i actiually went back and checked why i was arguin after my last posti think i am arguing that u seem to think his mistake is something he never should have done, and that when u or others make mistakes u fix em or face the consequences.
thats just it though. mistakes happen when lives are on the line. firemen, soldiers, doctors, lawyers.....all make mistakes. so yes he could have made a mistake about the serial number and rather than their being an excuse it could have been just negligence.
im not arguing against the general content of your posts just ur tone on them i guess.....he was at fault the first time and he made a mistake. the fact he killed himself doesnt make him a fuckup it just shows how frail the human psyche is

It says he transposed two digits, i.e., he saw both digits and put one where the other was supposed to be. Run the damn thing twice to make sure - it's not a candy bar, it's a gun.
hey.....in hospitals KCL is administeredin fatal dosages and blood groups are mixed up. tiredness does things to ya

He didn't care for his family. If he did, he would not have committed suicide and left his mourning widow behind to care for six children. If he was even remotely responsible as a youth, his oldest child couldn't be older than 17 (that's assuming he had his first child at age 18, which is a mistake but is better than anything younger). How old are his other children? 10? 5? 2? I don't think his life insurance plan, if any, covered suicide. His wife and kids are fucked, and he must have known that prior to killing himself. Of course, why should he have cared - he won't be around to answer for it.
OK, it's a hard job, so is that of a fire fighter, a lawyer, a doctor, a computer programmer, an automechanic, and a damn burger flipper. If someone can't do a job without minimizing the fuckups and not killing himself afterwards, then he should find himself another job.

again your thinking rationally.
because of the failed stop, 5 peolpe were dead. he probably couldnt handle it. you thinkany of this stuff was going thru his head? he was probably so ashamed and racking his brain with anguish he decided to end it. he probably loved his family to bits....the rasmifications of his actions would probably have never crossed his mind
he had 11yrs service prior and im guessing probably quite a good record. prior to the stop he probably was a typical cop. anyone can flip out like that....soldiers do it....should they not be soldiers. his psych exam missed the traits......strong emotional trauma can do odd things
