Jcm's road to the 2013 npc Southern Classic!

Yeah man. Should have. Had to cut it short on my third set of flat bench with just 145. It started to get tight and strained on me. This is getting so frustrating. I am feeling the best I ever have and I was building up serious momentum and injuries strike. I have never had problems with injuries so this is something hard for me to deal with. I am full steam ahead all the time. I will probably only do legs and light shoulders this week. Skip on the back and chest. Might do some light arms. So...hopefully next week will be better.

I know the feeling man I messed up my shoulder a few months ago as soon as I started making good gains.. Needless to say I can barely do chest now! It blows. But just go extra hard when you heal up brotha!

Thanks owl! I really appreciate your support! Sorry or took so long to post. I finally took everyone's advice and took a week off. Or was really strange for me because I have worked out for at least 4 days a week for over 4 years. Lol. I almost went crazy but made it through. I feel much better now and I am gonna ease in to things.

Alright guys....after a week break I am finally back. Lol. I am taking or slow this time and I am gonna do my best to stay injury free this go round. I am still staying away from chest for another week or so but other than that I am pretty much back on track.

So Monday is usually my chest day but I replaced it with arms instead. The workout went pretty well. I didn't push it at all and kept things relatively light. So here it id

So all in all it was a successful workout! I had a great pump and it felt great to be lifting again. On another positive note...I actually gained weight during my rest week. This is strange for me because I generally lose a couple lbs when I dont train. I did continue to eat pretty heavily last week but not to the extent I do when I am training everyday. The heaviest I weighed before the break was 217lbs and yesterday I was a shade over 219lbs! Hopefully the rest was exactly what I needed!

I'm very glad to hear that you are feeling better I was worried and kept checking but no word so I assumed you took a week off which is the best thing you could do. Just out of curiosity what will you be running for your up coming cycle in Oct I think is what you said? Keep it up just be careful not to push those nagging injures to much. Keep us posted💪

Thanks for checking up! My body did need a break. Lol. I am glad I took it now.

Yes, October is when I will start. At first I was gonna run a test, deca, a bomb, and eq combo but I have been thinking about dropping the eq. It doesn't serve a lot of purpose here and I dont want to run a 16 week cycle either. Lol. So I will more than likely take it out.
