I'll find out next week what my basic and OCS dates are. I would just like to thank all the active and prior service guys for sharing and answering my questions.
Congrats! Only advice I can give you is to take care of your enlisted troops, especially your NCO's because they are the ones that are going to take care of you in the long run. Don't sell your soldiers out just to kiss ass or make rank. And listen to the upper enlisted because even though they are not commisioned they know more than you probably ever will.
Go Army!

Well, I do have my eyes open more than most as I'm prior enlisted (Air Force).
I'm actually looking forward to basic. I can handle the yelling and screaming and will enjoy all the shooting, grenade tossing and camping. I'm a little more hesitant about OCS. It'll be harder and longer and the better I do the better my career choices are.
