Congrats! Only advice I can give you is to take care of your enlisted troops, especially your NCO's because they are the ones that are going to take care of you in the long run. Don't sell your soldiers out just to kiss ass or make rank. And listen to the upper enlisted because even though they are not commisioned they know more than you probably ever will.

Next stop, Ft. Benning. And if you do get infantry, you'll be there a year.
Take your NCO's with a grain of salt. Remember they are seasoned but also trying to make an impression.

Well, I do have my eyes open more than most as I'm prior enlisted (Air Force).
I'm actually looking forward to basic. I can handle the yelling and screaming and will enjoy all the shooting, grenade tossing and camping.
I'm a little more hesitant about OCS. It'll be harder and longer and the better I do the better my career choices are.

I don't think they are called "hello dolly's" anymore. After (former) SGM of the Army McKinney (I think that was his name) sexually harrased that chick and we had to do all the EO/sexual harrasment bullshit. I think they changed the name to be "sensitive" to the female troops.
