Is it Possible to Gain Complete Satisfaction

I think Complete Satisfaction is tough to get, maybe impossible.
Everyone has different goals, this goal may be totally opposite of that goal, that goal may be totally opposite of this goal, example: this guy wants a ferrari by age 30, that girl wants a husband by age 25, and so on and so on, finally, you reach the goal of the day, the month, the year, the whatever, but still satisfaction is not complete. Complete satisfaction is not possible I don't believe, thats not a good or bad thing, it just is.
Ever stop and say "what have I done with my life" , then realize that you are an idiot because you have done so much, come a long way from where you were, trial and error has done some justice, don't be too hard on yourself, and don't doubt, humans have destroyed themselves with doubt. I've often wondered if it is better not to reach all of the goals you set for yourself. much like the dog that actually catches the rabbit.

all of my goals are currently based around money, which I should meet in the next few years. then after that, having the money allows me the free time to accomplish the next set of goals, which are more athletically, and also family inclined.

but yes, I agree with you - Complete Satisfaction is just not attainable in some people - and that is good. I personally don't think it is good to ever sit back and say "yup, I've done it all, now I'm just gonna sit here and watch my feet for the rest of my life"
but it takes all kinds - some people are cool with that - others, like myself, are too type A and driven to be like that.

seriously though, i doubt 'contentment' is possible. Pure contentment is due to the nervous system sending the right signals at the right time, not outside influences. We have to look inward with medicine to find true contentment. Outside luxuries will never work in the long run.
