Is it ok to increase training frequency while on???

I am in week 4 of my current cycle. I have been training very intensely, and seem to be recovering great. I have been eating every 2 hours, and sleeping 9 hours every night along with the occassional 1 hour nap during the day.

I don't feel sore at all and feel pretty rested, can I increase my training frequency and train 6 days with 1 day off if I am not sore at all? Or would I still benefit more from a few extra rest days? I am not used to taking a day off when I already feel rested, I just want to get in the gym and tear it up, then come home, eat, and sleep. Should I just rest anyway..... or take advantage of the decreased recovery time?

I personally would still train 5 on 2 off, and increase the weight/intenstity of my current workouts.

When "on", I go from 4-5 lifts of 3 sets each to 6-7 lifts of 3 or 4 sets each. That's a lot of volume, but for me volume correlates directly with results. I've tried to convince myself that I can get results with lighter weights, "strict" form, and less voulme but it just doesn't happen.

Remember that people vary tho... I'd like to hear what others say.

I have found that 3 on 1 off works great for growth. Heavy 7-10 reps, no high rep BS! Heavy weight builds muscle, cardio diet drops fat.

The reason I ask this question about frequency is because I am going out of town for business for 3 days and won't be able to train, so I was thinking that I would push it a little before I left, and get my body in a slightly overtrained state so that the 3 days of rest will be welcomed by my body, and when I return I should notice some newfound strength, growth etc.

Whether your natural or using AAS, you need rest to grow..... Even if you aren't sore, or feel strong, rest is very important..... You could probably get away with training more, but I wouldn't adivse it.... Just concentrate on doing more weight every time you train, stronger=bigger muscles, so concentrate on getting stronger, and you'll grow.....

when trying to add lbm on a cycle, is it better to take a complete day of rest or is 30 mins of cardio in the am fine as well. I normally feel better when I do cardio in the am, and usually feel it has no impact of my recovery???

if doing low impact cardio, it should actually help recovery. i've always noticed better results by doing just basic lifts, bench, military, squats, and deads. working out 3-4 days week max, and then rest and eat, and repeat...
