Is anyone else on juice for medical puposes and also does cycles for BB puposes?

I found upjohns Cyp. for half the Copay (was on BTG Enan.) :). 200/week was too much for my sport (slopitch softball). My leg muscles seemed too tight and running in bursts of speed bothered my legs. 100/week(5-7days) seems to be the sweet spot for me. I'm also taking most of the sups. listed here along with rala, Thermorexin, and protein. Wood is great, often mornings I can't roll over without waking up. I don't know my medical numbers but, checkups go smooth. I feel great and I'm crushing the ball. @ 41yrs. old I believe I'm tuned and balanced. I might not be a dragster but, more like a sprint car.
Peace out,
GoinDeep

Nelson I have experimented between 100 to 300 a week of
cypinate. At 200mg total test is at 900ish, estrogen on the lowside, & DHT is on the high side. I always feel bloated any help you could give?

If your diet is not in check that much T can lead to some bloat as well from sodium and fluid retention. T can do this directly even without the E, however your E levels may also be higher than you think at times. When you take a shot every five days or so you still get a bit of a swing in hormone levels, they are not nearly even, so depending on when you were tested as compared to your last shot might be something else to consider. Furthermore these swings in levels can make sides more likely.

my favorite stack is geritol and milk of magnesia…

Three years ago I had blood work done and my total test was a meager 300, but my family doctor didn’t even want to discuss HRT with me. You’re “within the normal range”, he said. I was 39 at the time.

The HMO healthcare system is such a painful process—so rather than looking into finding an alternative doctor I took matters into my own hands. So now I break the law 365 days out of the year, but, hey, I’m one “healthy” law breaker.

I’m on a cycle now, but when I go off I’ll do 200mgs per week. I’ve tried higher doses, but it felt too much like I was just doing another cycle, and a weak one at that.

Very interesting thread.

I am 54 and have been BB since age of 45. Started TRT 4 months ago, thank gosh. Agree with everthing Nelson has said as my experience parallels his. My protocol is 100mg of Test cyp. once a week with 500iu of HCG. Labs show no need for anti-E therapy. Quality of life is now excellent!

"I have found that my receptors don't stay fresh with the HRT so when I start a cycle I don't get the dramatic growth. However, I keep more of the gains afterward. Maybe I just need to bump the dosages up on my cycle to get good gains."

I have found the same thing to be true about the receptors. I am on HRT and find that I do not gain much "on cycle" either. On the other hand, I pretty much keep everything that I gain as a rule, however little that is. In order to try to counteract this, I did try very high doses on cycle in the past(at least for me) at 1.2 gram/week of test and 1.2 gm/week of deca. The result is that it was a waste of material and didn't work any better than say 400mg/week of test and 200mg/week of deca for a cycle IMO. Since I get my deca and test by legal scrip for known medical conditions, I know that they are real and they are U.S. made pharmaceuticals hence "real." So I also suspect that HRT tends to "deaden" the receptors over time. Incidently, even at high levels, my estrodiol levels are mid normal range and I have never had the slightest propensity towards gyno--don't ask me why since I have no idea. Consequently, I have never used any anti-e's. I also find that even 50 mg/day of Oxandrin stacked on top of deca and test doesn't even phase me. I also notice that above "replacement levels" there is a distinct lessoning of libido so I agree that there is clearly an optimum blood concentration for me as well.

The ONLY thing that seems to overcome the "deadening" of the receptors for me from my experience is Fina. I tried it at 75 mg ED for eight weeks on a recent cycle stacked on top of test and it was almost miraculous. I tried it because it supposedly has three times the binding affinity for receptors as does testosterone so I suspected it might be the "missing piece." For the first time ever, I gained 15 lbs on cycle, cut in at the same time and kept it all. Just as a note, I have lifted weights for 29 years and my pre HRT and pre use of ANY anabolic agents size weight was 227 lbs at 5'11.5" tall. Currently, I am between 245 lbs and 250 lbs with single digits for bodyfat.

This is a fantastic topic and something that is not discussed enough on the boards. It's great to see doctor's chime in about the virtues of having T levels in the high-normal range for quality of life.

I'm probably one of the youngest here on HRT (30), but my T levels did measure low. My regular family doctor didn't seem to give a shit about it . It is frusterating dealing with that kind of attitude from DR and having to keep search to find one that will take you seriously. My sex drive was dropping off as my wife's is increasing, I was finding it harder to make gains in the gym and keep the fat off, I was feeling lethargic and depressed etc. It's only been a couple of weeks but I think all of these things are starting to improve.

I look around at the regular Joe middle aged guy with a pot belly and little muscle mass and refuse to accept that as my future. My father is a classic example of this. He is 60 years old and has also just been put on HRT. He's active but does mostly cardio and carries around quite a bit of fat. I just can't see myself looking like he does when I get older. I'm betting he has had low T for years especially given that mine is low too and it can be genetic.

Here's to being pioneers with HRT! I think in the next 5- 10 years, it will become widely accepted for men to be on earlier and earlier.

I'm not too thriled with my results with Androgel for HRT. I use 10GM/day (2 packets) and here are my numbers as of last week:

Test with a range of 280-800 results: 323

Free test range of 7.2-23 is a 15.

This is still considered low-normal. I would like injectiable test to add to my Deca shots, but my doctor has been resistant.

I tried Androgel for a few months until I impregnated my wife. I then got paranoid that I might transfer it through skin contact and harm the fetus so I stopped. Twice weekly injections are so much easier anyway.

I just started HRT. I've settled on 100 mg enan e5d. (prescribed 200/wk, so accumulating some leftovers) Will get my blood tested again on the 15th to see where it has brought me to. (I need to come in on the high end so she doesn't suspect I'm saving part of the 200). I was at 175; low end of the scale was 300...

I need to have a conversation with my doc about staying on. I don't think she intends to keep me on HRT continuously... Any suggestions?

I haven't been on HRT long enough to cycle, but I plan on it in the future...
