Infection damn it!

are you of the impression it was the gear or your technique?

I personally believe I did something wrong with the transfer from the sachet to the vial. I believe it was my fault so I am not throwing away any other sachets. I take responsability for probably getting sloppy. I threw away that vial and will start another.

As aceman states i would seek professional medical attention so as to ensure all has been removed or can cause problems for years to come.

I am aware of the laws in the USA but confident that patien confidentiality still exists and would not risk health by not going.

With regards cause is this a new product or do you think there was a failing in technique?

Wrongun!

Thanks my doc is well aware of my usage! She takes good care of me!

Your antibiotics won't do shit. That puss you were talking about actually blocks the antibiotic from penetrating the infection. You need to get an injectable antibiotic to kick start the Amoxycillin first. All you're doing now is teaching the infection to be more resistant to antibiotics so it will take even longer to heal-or you may require a more potent antibiotic like Cipro(used for treating Anthrax). Go to ther Dr before it turns into Staph.

by that rationale, you think everyone with a hangnail or a scrape should go to a doctor
ahhh no
my rational is that if something so simple can go so bad
2 deep pus pockets like that could go very wrong very quick

curious as to what your advice is

Point taken. If you are geigh and have no immune system go to the hospital when you get a hangnail! LOL! j/k

Thats not to mention the puss pocket on my ass from the same vial. That one I think I need to get drained. Could not squeeze that one hard enough and I am out of 1.5" needles besides an 18 gauge and thats not going anywhere near me although that probably would make for a better drain! However since last night when I started the anti biotics that one finally is getting smaller.

Whats wierd about the whole thing is that it never got hot or itchy or I never felt mallaise or feverish just did not seem right to me so I poked and prodded. I think I have had them before but did not realize. Anyway I trashed that vial and will give it one day and see if there is any improvement otherwise I am going to the docs

I have my first confirmed infection today. I large knot grew in my delt where I injected which seems to be normal but never was staying a little longer than usual. So I decided to press on the lump where I felt a pop. I knew right then . So I of course went to the mirror and saw the released fluid move under my skin as I pushed on where the lump was so I got a syringe poked a hole with a sterile needle after wiping the area and my hands clean with alcohol and sure enough puss came out. I started on atibiotics right away. I also then squeezed my swollen muscle and felt yet another pop. I thought it was always just painful because it was stealth gear. Anyway just thought I'd share my little story and the reason I believe that you should have an antibiotic on hand just as you would a an AI while cycling. jmo!

CO B-Man. How long was it from the time you took the shot and the time you did the "poking & proding". Just curious.

My delt about 4 days. Something looked odder than the usual swelling. My glute is about a week old and there is a little know there seems like it is going away a little

not the first infection i've seen or heard about from stealth gear, and likely won't be the last

Could be the gear, could be the way I transferred it to the vial. I am not sure but none-the-less its painful whether it gets infected or not so I am pretty much done with it whether it were me or not.
