In Mexico City - getting shut down at the Farmacias!?

Hi all,

I am currently in Mexico City on business. This afternoon I took a walk around the area I am staying (Polanco, north of Chapultepec park). Visited about 5 pharmacies; a big supermarket syle, and several smaller ones. I have my little list of items I am looking for (mainly winny,var) and so far have been fully shutdown. Often the pharmacist would have a look at the list, sometimes even go in the back, then come back, 'sorry nothing'. Some places just took one look and 'sorry'. One time the pharms had a little circle pow-wow and then came back 'sorry'. Granted I am not a local and dont' speak much Spanish, but I have been low key and non-heaty. Does anyone have any suggestions? I will be here until Mon, and would like to take a little back with me. I was really looking forward to some selection and decent prices, but it seems like times have changed?

You are having a hard time because SELLING STEROIDS FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION IS ILLEGAL IN MEXICO... contrary to what most people here believe. Many pharmacias do carry AAS... but they are protected shops and run a great risk in doing so.

You're in the wrong part of Mexico brother. Plain & simple.

Try this though: Go to a Docs office and tell him what you need. Ask him if he can write a Script for it, and if he knows a farmacia that will fill it beforehand. That should be your ticket to getting some Sust, Sten, Stenox, or PT250's. He might even have them right there in his office. You're on your own trying to come through Customs though.

custooms, go but a huge bottle of shampoo place all amps in and put the pills in ziplock bag. make sure everything is in tehre and pushed down careful not to crsuh teh amps. when you get home just cut teh top off and walla>

Go to any popuplar mexican cab stand and ask any english speaking cab driver how much it would cost to take you to a closest granero(that is what the vet stores are called) make shure you get the price before you go or he will rip you off...good luck man if you get a chance post the prices and gear you got i'm interested in the prices in mexico city....

Getting anything is based on having a rapport with the pharmacist. A guy who used to hook me up not only could speak spanish (a big plus), but he was subtle, talked shop while making it look like legit business, and won over the guy showing he knew what he wanted and what he was doing.

Lots of amateurs walk in off the street. Bad for business. If they get busted, they might rat on the pharmacist, and Mexican justice is worse than US justice. They play it cool for a reason. Better to make no gringo money than to go to jail.

Like anything, you'll probably need someone with connections to vouch for you to someone he trusts as a reliable pharmasict.

The heat right now is so bad that when I contacted my person on getting legit stuff, he woudn't respond, so it must be pretty bad. That, or even though I was vouched for, he doesn't remember me enough to trust my correspondence.

I was there over the summer for 3 weeks and I couldn't get shit. Pharmacies would not even sell me valuim. I was in shity neighborhoods to b/c I was down there with my brother who is a boxer.
