***Important matter for anyone on HRT right now***

I live part time in Ft Lauderdale and the one here offers sperm tests. Yes I UNDERSTAND TOTALLY your predicament about starting hrt! My wife is young and wants a kid so I stopped for 6 months TRT. Man that sucked big time. I was able to get everything back except high sperm count. I have no idea what it was before many cycles but it was about zero after 1 month on pct,and about half what I needed after 6 months. Maybe a year off would do it but that will really bite. I was not a real happy camper to say the least, good thing I know other ways to satisfy my wife lol! Anyway Im sure the cycles I did of tren and deca also hurt because they both seemed to whack my prolactin out. I f you have never done anything try it for lets say 3 months on about 100mg week ! This shouldnt shut you down to bad and if you run hcg it might be even easier on your system. I f you have access to dostinex (cabergoline) and hmg that would probably give you a safe trial run on trt. Then you can decide whats your priority, hey adoption aint out of the question yet for me. Well let us know what you decide it will be interesting to follow! It seems this is an upcoming question for middle aged men.

My situation is similar to Clozto50. I'm 48, but would like to have kids in the future. I don't want to commitment myself to something that is going to kill my sperm production. I just want to try HRT to see if it improves my situation (fatigue, reduced sx drive), but I read comments like "HRT is for life", and it scares me away. My questions are:
1. Clozto50, or anyone else in a similiar situation taking hcg etc. to retain sperm count, what clinic are you using?
2. Can I just try it for a month or two and see how it effects me., without experiencing a protracted or permanent reduction in Test production after the end of the 'cycle'?
3. Do hcg et al have any significant side effects? I don't want to be one of those people that takes A and B to enhance one's health, but then needs to take C, D, E, and F to counter the side effects of A and B. And I don't want to have to become an expert in pharama terms (even thought I have a degree in Chemistry).

I have no experience with question 1, but 2 and 3 are hard to answer. We all react differently to test, hcg, etc. I was quite irritated, etc when I was suffering with low T. Within a month of starting therapy, I felt much calmer. Things that would drive me insane don't even bother me anymore. So a two month trial period may be enough to let you feel the difference in well being.

As for HCG, I get gyno flareups even from the smallest dosages. Really annoying. Again, everyone reacts differently so you won't know till you try

I can relate in a way. The only way I seem to get anything done now is in a crisis situation or some kind of adversarial confrontation. Both of which create an adrenaline rush which allows me to focus and gets me off my butt. My theory being that I am on some subconscious level creating these crisis situations and adversarial confrontations for the adrenaline rush and/or to stimulate testosterone production in the adrenal glands.
