You're entitled to your opinion and I know that SC has no need for me to go to bat for him, but ultimately, his advice is sound, custom tailored and works. I know, i had the benefit of just a couple rounds in email with him prior to his going "commercial". Ultimately, more muscle for me and better at the diet game.
I've found IMHO that there's plenty of 80% case diets here, but when it comes to each individual, if your Insulin resistant, you need to change, if your mid-level assimilation on some of your proteins (i.e. chicken is not easily assimilated by me confirmed by my ND, who's got years in the iron game and is still a great competitor)...and many more little quirks that each individual has to learn.
My research in nutrition and further recreational science background for work has taken me to the place where I can teach others as well. But I know enough to know that not every diet works for everyone......each person has a bio-chemistry that's unique and a metabolism that is as well.
Nuff said, if you're a practicing ND, MD, or PhD in the field, we have something in common and can talk at an equal level, but unless you've seen hundreds of folks and worked with their idosycracies <sp?> you missed the boat.
My humble 2 cents as we're all entitled to, right?
