Age-17
Weight-135
Height-5'6"
Bench- 170 (5by5) recently started this
I do plenty of workouts and have access to a gym everyday, I got a good body I can post pics later.
My goal is to gain weight, increase bench, and maintain my abs.
Please don't flame
Just help!

keep up with your 5x5 they are great routines. i know ur a kid but do your best to eat well. lots of protein. cardio is the only thing that will keep your abs around. do cardio in between days you are lifting. keep lifting. you will grow just fine. thats all you can do. have a good routine, proper form, eat well, sleep well.

bro when i was your age I was exactly your height and weight. and I worked out 6X per week. however I had to make weight for weightlifting so I was very careful about what I ate and ran a lot of cardio.

if your goal is to gain mass now then reduce the cardio and up the carbs. good clean carbs of course. eat eat eat. I would also recommend creatine. and dont forget your legs. lots of young guys neglect their legs.

good luck.

what does your routine include? I noticed you only knew what your bench max is. What's your squat and deadlift max? Those lifts are more important than bench

I don't do them much but I'll start won't hurt. When I get back from Florida I'll let you know there maxes

so your routine is very evidently your first problem. being 17 i also highly doubt your eating right too. google 5x5 workout and pick one. your now on your first step to getting bigger.

Deadlifts and squats are the best mass building exercises you can do. But you also must eat as if it were a second job too. At least 2 grams of protein per lb of bodyweight per day. Creatine is good too, but don't use more than 10g per day.
