Ideas for getting RID of "pointy pecs" and man boobs

If you've dropped down to 15% body fat or lower and still have too much fat on your chest then surgery is your best option. I've had it done myself. Cost was $3500.

surgery is not the best option. It may be an last resort option, it may be an effective option (even that is debatable depending on several factors) but there are a lot of EFFECTIVE OPTIONS before that.

Most, if not all people, will respond to combination therapy

Estrogen suppression (aromatase inhibitors arimidex, letrozole, exemstane)

A2 blocking (topical yohimbine- Yohimburn)

Prolactin suppression (bromocriptine, cabergoline or selegine+hydergine).. vitex is less reliable but many do respond to it.

these can be used alone.. though for those that do not respond to the individual treatments.. combination treatment should be used.

Everything that Macro said, and stop over training your chest, three hours of pushups, that's crazy. Train your chest very hard and quite heavy once a week, and you may just experience some growth in the pecs. Any pec growth will strech the fatty layer in the nipple area making it less noticeable. As for any problem a combonation of methods works better than any one approach.

I'm not doing 3 hours soley of push ups.

I meant I'm doing three hours of exercise per day which may include 90 minutes of walking, 60 minutes of cycling, 30 minutes of weight bearing exercises which includes 3 or 4 sets of push ups in the routine.

But thanks for your advice all the same.

At the moment I'm looking ino Estrogen suppression?
What are the known side effects to the drugs mentioned above? Espceially arimidex.

How much areobic exercise should I be doing?

I have experienced muscle growth whilst doing this amount of aerobic exercise. I do 3 to 4 half hour weight sessions a week in addition to the aerobic exercises.

To maximize muscle growth, do no more than 3 to 4, 45 min aerobic sessions a week, it would mean more muscle if you did even less. Depend on diet to keep the fat off. Also increase the amount of weight training to around 4, 1 hour sessions of intense training. Do a split routine i.e. training each body group only once per week, but train it hard. Ex. Mon. chest, triceps,Tues. back, biceps, Wed. rest Thurs legs and calves, Fri shoulders. This is a tried and true method of building muscle. Good luck.

Thanks for that information.

But I do have a question!

How does doing more aerobic exercise effect muscle growth? Is that because the energy is being used up in the aerboic exercise rather than going into building muscles?

Due to my areobic exercise my legs are quite muscular (I think too big) so I don't really want to do any weight training on them. But other exercises may still be benefitial on them.
