police procedure for an accident such as this is to make sure they see his license and insurance paperwork. tiger scheduled the popo appt on his own accord and its not required. so he cancelled it for whatever reason.
Have you ever had to make an appt to talk with popo after having an accident? I havent and ive been in a few.

No you don't. Esp if you'e rich and famous. Only a judge's order can force you to come in, at which you caswe you can always plead the 5th.

Clearly he's trying to hide what really happened. However, if the cops want to pursue this, they can subpoena his medical records; if the doc who treated him is of the opinion that the lacerations on Tiger's face look like scratches rather than damage that would be inflicted by an auto accident...the cops can proceed to charge Elin.
Probably won't get a conviction if he's not co-operating, but they should lay the charge all the same if that's what happened.
