I Was Busted!! I Need Help!

If you didnt open the package...they were in the wrong.anybody could have sent that to you.recieving a package is not a crime.We cant control what we get in the mail.If they busted you,they probably have more evidence than you think.re-trace any tracks where you might have left open for them to gather evidence to use against you in a court of law.

There is one golden rule to follow when in trouble with the police.......KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT.I live in Canada and i think its the same in the states,your innocent till proven guilty.You may think that honesty is the best policy,but thats just a fairy tail your mother told you.The cops they don't have to tell the truth and they are not your friends.It is your right not to say anything and they cant hold that against you.Best advice anyone can give you is,get a lawyer.I really feel for ya bro,but what alot of people don't understand is that their mouth gets them in more trouble than anything else.What ever you told them isn't going to get you out of trouble,it just add to what ever they think they all ready know.Please people just remember,don't tell them nothing.The only person you should be talking to is a lawyer.Good luck to ya,keep the faith!

i know what you are saying bro, but they didn't know how long they would have to wait. i believe his story, what reason would he have to lie? but if you ask me there was something else going on that he was not aware of. it seems to me that a customs agent has bigger fish to fry than some kid with dbol.

I was busted years ago FedExing some coke to an old college buddy. Looked at (2) 15 year felonies for possesion and possesion w/intent to distribute. What did I get?????

Plea bargined for a $500 fine, 2 years probation and 100 hours of community service. The deal was originally for 50 hours of community service and the judge was pissed because she felt the whole thing was too easy on me. She said that she would ok the whole package if I let her increase the community service to 100 hours.

Get a decent attorney and relax - everything will work out fine.

I work in criminal defense in San Diego. You have very little to wrry about. They will probably drop the charges to a misdameanor and you will pay a fine and possibly be on probation.

Do not speak to the D.A. or U.S. attorney on the case depending on whether they are going to file charges under state or federal. When they read you your rights and tell you "what you say can and will be used against you". They are not lying. Do not speak to them. You will be assigned a public defender from the county office or from the federal puyblic defender's office. Use them. You have little to nothing to worry about.

I have read that in your area brother, that they have trouble even getting the local(State or Fed) D.A's to even take Steroid Posession, or even PWI cases. Is that true? I read it in an ESPN article.

Hey bro... I am not sure if I am to late for this but this exact thing happened to me in Feb. The DEA, US Customs and Sherifs Narc units came to visit me after a package from Romania containing 2000 napos was left at my house. I was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell. This is a "B" Felony, punishable up to 25 years in prison.
This was Feb 19th, and I am still in court over it. I went 6 times already and I go for the last time on Oct 7th, where I will get sentenced. I pleaded guilty a couple weeks ago to to a plea bargin which was, "Attempted possesion of a controlled substanced", this is an "E" Felony punishable up to 4 years in prison. I am getting 5 years or proby out of this.
Are you sure you have all your facts straight about this? Maybe the laws are different here in NY but I was arraigned the next morning after being arresting, not a month later. I had a Lawyer presant at the arraignment (which you should too). Also I cant see why this would be a "B" felony in NY and a felony/misdemeanor in CA. I also find it hard to beleive that they didnt try to get a source from you. They spent a couple hours trying to get me to give up everyone I knew that ever even looked at an illegal drug.

Under New York Law, Steroids are actually a Schedule II Controlled Substance. The charges for you would be MORE serious, than for someone in California(where they are a CIII-just like everywhere else), assuming that it is being pursued at the State level.
