actually, the papers they gave me when i was released read FELONY/MISDEMEANOR so i hope you are right. but what does a half and half charge mean? and of course i am shitting bricks. i am not interested in going to jail zerxes. what experience do you have that you say. please address. thanks.

Speaking from experience, I can tell you that if the worst punishment that he can get is up to a year in Jail, then this IS NOT a Felony charge. Felony charges are punishable by a year OR MORE in PRISON. Misdemeanors(which is what this will be-trust me)are punishable by UP TO A YEAR in JAIL. There are signifigant differences. I know this dude is shitting bricks now, but I can guarantee you that he will NOT do any time. In fact, if he gets more than 1 year probation, I would be shocked.
