I think i pulled my hamstring.....

Today was leg day. I was mentally and physically prepared to have a kick ass work out. Started off with:
4x leg extensions
4x front squats
3x regular squats
I still had a lot of energy left so I decided to go heavy on deads, I did one set. I was gonna incorporate some walking lunges in between sets. Next thing you know I couldn't bring myself up :worried:. The pain was unbearable so I had to stop. This freakin sucks big time. :worried::doc:

What should I do???
 
Pic shots will help allow us to ascertain the severity of the injury. Both legs for comparison purposes.

Better throw in a gluteus maximus shot as well in case the injury has actually occurred in said muscle group & not your legs.
 
I've been told ice and heat off and on. I pulled my hammy and glute 3 weeks ago playing vball. Ham is now fine, but can barely sit on the glute. At this point I'm thinkin it might be a minor tear. No legs for me for a few weeks :(

Good luck with the recovery.

Rest and use a heating pad for now, if pain persists then go see a Dr.

This probably happend because your body is upset with you for drinking that "shake" yesterday. :kiss:

Seriously though I hope you're ok.
 
I'm impressed by your leg work out, thats impressive, seeing as at my gym the squat rack is always open,
U deadlift, fuckin a, that is absolutely awesome, now I feel worse cause I haven't in years
as far as injury goes, this will suck cause, hams take forever to heal.
How long is your cycle? Don't worry about insomnia that will go away in two weeks... lol

Well everything looks fit & healthy (:D)

+1 with Chocolate_Thunder, rest & heat, if it persists see the GP. I'm a big fan of liberally applied Ibuprofen gel as well to muscle strains to help take the edge off the pain.

a few weeks? i really hope it doesn't take that long to heal

that means no biking, cardio or lower body :evil:

I was doing so well, it sucks
