well im on 800mgs a week of t-400. i use a 1.5" 23 guage needle, and my injection procedure is sterile. im gettin ready to start week 3, and my last injection was on friday. these are glute injects.
well of course it hurt and knotted up on sat and sunday, but thats normal with t400, but now the pain is about gone, just a little tender, but i have what feels like a lump of air or liquid between my muscle and fat. when i sit, i can feel the lump, and you can visibly see it. its definatly not in the muscle, and the lump is soft.

whats your guess, ill take a pic and post it.

Would it be safe to insert a needle to attempt to draw out a sample?

If it is an abcess don't they drain it anway?

I think if there is that much fluid, they drain it. Although I think they use a scalpel and some tubing.... Maybe a large Needle. I guess I don't really know.

I do know they drain them when there is that much fluid, they also drain it a few times, because often it generates more fluid. I am sure anti-biotics are part of the regimine.

i took a pic, but the lump is not very visible, what are some sure signs its an abcess, andything thing that would rule out it being an abcess.

its a very soft lump
the skin is not discolored at all
the inject that caused this wa only 3 days ago
and it dont feel like its in the muscle, more like in the fatty tissue

i'd say wait a few more days to see if the pain goes away.. if the pain increases go see a doc.

See thats the thing, the pain has decreased
it feels like, a lump of air, and funkin annoys the hell out of me.

the other thing is my next inject is tommorrow. geuss ill put it off for a couple.

also, all my injection procedures have been identical, same vial of test, and this happened at the end of my second week.

I had the same thing to happen,it is annoying as hell, it takes a while but it will slowly be absored. mine took a couple of weeks, just keep an eye on it and feel if any changes take place, like redness, warm to touch..etc.

i dont know, cant they give you an antibiotic also.

at what point do they not, and drain it

Antibiotics will work but when pus builds in the infected site the antibiotics are unable to reach their target well. This is why the infection is drained.

I've never had a problem. I don't know if it's luck, the gear, or that I make sure I sink the 1.5" needle far into the muscle at hand. I rub it in a little and nothing ever leaks back in between the fat and the muscle.

is doxycycline the best antibiotic to use.

also, there is virtually no pain, and no discolor, just puffy, like when i sit in a chair, it feels like i got somethin in my pocket.

geuss ill keep an eye on it, and see if it gets any worse. im on a very fixed income, and need to use a doc as last resort.
thanks guys

Isnt doxycycline what they are using for anthrax now instead of cipro?

Not sure if its the best, but for me, any antibiotic I can get will be better than none. I am still trying to figure this out and see what I can find. (I am just stating my situation. If you're an idiot and send me a source email or PM, I will send you red karma.) What ever I come up with quick will be what I take. Looks like amoxicillin may be the winner.

i had an abcess on the upper side of my finger once (totally unrelated to gear use). it was excruciatingly painful. every time i mistakenly hit it against something i thought i would hit the roof!

finally i went to see a doctor. i thought he would just prescribe something but it turned out not to be so simple.

first he stuck a needle under my fingernail and injected lidacaine to numb it. then he used a scalpel to cut open the abcess and squeezed out the trapped pus. i was literally screaming it was so painful.

it did the trick though. the pain was gone instantly. it was SUCH a relief.

he prescribed doxycycline (sp?) after the procedure. cypro is for anthrax. (interesting fact: pus is nothing but dead white blood cells).

WELL today the swelling hasnt gone down, but the pain has. basicly no pain, unless you push hard. also, still no discolor.

its just anoying, and odd feeling. would using a heating pad maybe help. i always use my heating pad to help with normal t-400 pain. anychance the pad caused the problem, on this side i used it for hours strait on sat and sun.

Heating pad will help dispersion. Bro, most likely you are fine. Sounds like its getting better. As long as it keeps improving little by little you should be fine.

yeah no pain, just feels like a tumor.

also, im stoping my cycle. im gonna toss that bottle of t400 out, i dont know what caused this, but its fucked me up mentaly, and right now my main concern is to get rid of this lump.

check this... my buddy was running winstrol and he ended up with a painful lump. turned out it wasn't infected, but instead a large amount of blood had filled to the size of a baseball(or so he says). and no luck on small needle to pull it out, like the guy said, scalpel and tubes. just reasses where you're at every day. and see a doc if you have to.
