I need advice on this injury please!!

I will send a PM about my background rvboy.

If it is a dura, or disc problem you might consider findnig a chiropractor who does 1) Cox method or 2) SOT - with my preferences in that order. Studies published in SPINE have shown that even with sequestered herniated discs, they can be repaired greater than 85% of the time without surgery using the cox method. For less severe disc injuries the results are even better. The Cox method is sort of a gentle tretching, traction specific technique and it can "readjust" the dura kind of like straightening out a sock all bunched up in your sock.

With facet problems cox may be of benefit, as well as any general anti-inflammatory. Medically they can do a facet injection with Kenelog and it will often almost eliminate the pain within 24 hours.

Will you be more prone to similar injuries? If it is a disc , yes I think so. Some facet problems can come from genetic predisposition - for example the facets in the lumbar spine are supposed to be situated at 90 degrees, but I have one facet that is at 45 degrees -called facet tropism. So the facet undergoes more wear and tear, and prone to inflammation. If you have facet tropism you may be more predisposed to the joint being inflammed in the future. If it is a dura problem then no.

Well today was the first day I can honestly say that some strength is starting to return. Awesome!!!!!!! Few more weeks and I will be feeling "normal" slow process though. My chio tells me the rate of heeling is about a millimitre a day.
