I just watched the second tower go down with my own EYES!

I know that all bridges are closed, along with the LIRR, but I'm wondering if I walk to 59th street if they will let me walk across the bridge. What do you think? I dont want to be stuck in New York City.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU, BUT GOOD LUCK. I'M SURE ITS ALL OVER, THEY DON'T HAVE THE BALLS TO COME BACK HERE, SO DON'T WORRY. I KNOW ITS A PAIN IN THE ASS BEING STUCK THERE THOUGH. BEST OF LUCK TO YOU.

Hey man, where are you getting your info about public transportation in and out of NYC?

I'm still in shock. I've been in tears on and off since this morning and I couldn't finish the one meal I cooked this evening. I didn't know anyone in the towers personally. I took classes there in tower 2 last year.

Glad to hear I wasnt the only one in tears this morning. Im am too pissed to even begin to describe.

hey saf can i interview you for my article? if you can give me your phone number it would be of much help thanks!

listen guys, i can only imagine what you are feeling being that you watched it with your own eyes. as i was woken up by my mother crying and hugging me, i turned on the news. i got ready and went to work. i too was teary eyed as i was driving. the more i think about it, the more i am ready to ship off to basic training. you hear me everyday talking about how i'm going to the marines. it's cause i'm proud to do so. i would be more than honored to put on that uniform and help and defend my country. i can't even begin to fathom how many lives were taken today. i would proudly defend them by serving my country and holding the culprits of this responsible.

We are up here in Halifax, Nova Scotia-Canada. We saw the whole thing on tv from the begining. It is not the same as being there, but EVERYONE up here is freaked out. We have shelters set up for those on planes that were grounded, and blood donor clinics set up all over the place so that we can help.
We pray for the people that were hurt and their families. This was totally an act of unspeakable, unforgivable, insane person.
Good Luck, and we are thinking of all of you.

I saw a direct view of the second plane crashing into the tower. I work in the citibank building right across the water from the twin towers and there are no other building where I am, so I had a clean line of site.
As me and my co-workers were watching the first building burning, the plane just came in and exploded into the biggest fireball I've ever seen.
I ususally don't get scared at things, but today I was scared as shit. It was a total suprise to us because we thought that the first one was an accident (as we were watching), but once I saw that explosion...I knew it was terrorism and I got the hell out of my building.
I'm sure we all feel the same way, and I hope we take action quickly.

This is going to change the way we live
