Any woman i ever treated well ended up trying to walk all over me.......all i can say is to hell with that and i will never again allow myself to be played for a fool by any member of the opposite sex.I have allowed it to happen on a few occassions now by what i thought were "nice girls".They must have seen kindness and thoughtfulness as a sign of weakness from me,thus giving them the green light to treat me like shit.


I'm very much with frackal and citrus on this.My days of wearing my heart on my sleeve are well and truely over.C is very right,be yourself and fuck being overly nice to them,if it's meant to be then you'll click anyway,why make a dick of yourself needlessly just to boost their ego.

I suppose Ive been lucky with women my entire life. All my serious girlfriends geniuenly cared about me and were true to me.

From an objective standpoint, alot of broad generalizations are being used to typecast females as heartless bitches. "all' 'never' 'always' . Sterotypes usually dont do a good job in accurately describing a group of people.

From my experience, women are great because most are far more in touch with their emotions than men. This heightened emotional awareness women exude, compliments the traditional male persona of outward strength and security many men feel pressured to externally emulate.

For me anyway, I feel pressured sometimes, especially around other guys, to appear outwardly competent, or 'together', even when im not. Alot of girls, if given the chance, are much more receptive to discuss these emotions than men without forming the personal judgements many men do when confronted with the male expression of traditionally 'unacceptable' emotions.


Thats been my experience anyway.

Girls want drama, girls want excitement. Nice guys can't or don't give them that. They want a challenge, a run for their money. Nice guys just don't provide these things.

This is exactly what my ex-wife said to me. She also said that she thrived off of adrenaline rushes. In the first 6 0r 7 years of our marriage I guess I was more of a challenge to her because I would argue with her and get mad sometimes. In the last 2 years of our marriage, I began to mellow and I never wanted to argue. If there was something that we didn't agree upon, I would say, "You see it your way and I see it mine and I doubt we will change each other's minds" and I would leave it at that. I quit yelling when I became angry, getting all excited over small stuff. Well damn, you would think all that's a good thing. But to her I was becoming boring, no longer a challenge. So she had to have an affair with a dumbass guy 10 years younger than me to add some spice and drama into her life. I just became too mellow for her. Now she is with a school principal who everyone thinks is an outstanding member of the community, but I know the truth. He is a wife beater and a drunk among other things. You never really know what people are like behind closed doors.
