I Have Hit Rock Bottom And Look Pathetic

It drops off gradually, not sharply...about 3% per year after 35.

I am 40 and not everyone needs HRT; especially at our age. It's worth having your doctor check out your total and free test levels but don't start treating a problem that you don't really know exists yet.

Ok, that last part sounds preachy to me and I don't want this post to be like that. I also went through a divorce and everytime I tried to get "back to normal" right away I slid further down into the hole. You have to get out gradually.

Whether you start a cycle now or not has little to do with achieving your ultimate goal. You need to be able sustain a lifestyle of exercise and healthy eating. I agree with the earlier poster who sugested that a test cycle would put you on an emotional rollercoaster and you don't need that right now.

My advice is make changes gradually; you can't get to 230 and ripped with 18" arms overnight. For me personally it always works best to start the exercise regimine first. Get to the point where you're lifting 3-4 times per week and doing cardio 3 times per week. Once you're investing all that effort on a consistent basis, you'll want to change your diet to maximize your results.

Once you're back into the lifestyle, then throw in some juice. And again from personal experience, at 40 I get more muscular and leaner on tren ace even with a crap diet. But the sides are really tough to bear and the recovery is brutal. You never get something for nothing.

Good Luck!

Good points!!

I get great fat loss from 50mg winstrol a day oral, along with training.
however i made the misteake of replacing motivation with gear and it failed badly.
I would do as advised here and go with the 250 mg a week and this will help you see results that will motivate you. Or go for 50mg winny a day but you gotta train hard as well.

I agree completely. Your comments are very much in line with my thoughts if it is I you are referring to. I did not say that "middle-aged guys can't pull some iron". I simply said it gets a little more difficult with age. I am 36 by the way and do not feel as good as I did when I was in my early 20's until being On cycle. I say it will help make it a little easier for him by enhanced mood, and energy. That's what steroids are all about last time I checked. making it just a little easier. Before anybody starts flaming that comment I DID NOT say it makes it easy just helps make it a little easier to achieve your goals. Otherwise why else would you risk taking them!

Again giving hyuge props to the lifestyle -- I'm 41 and in better shape now than I was when I was 20. I'm in better shape now than when I did my first BB show at age 35. Why? Because I got to the gym regularly, follow a good diet and leave room for cheats when they are needed, have a better outlook on life thru rough times (no divorce here but plenty of heartbreak and layoffs thru the years of the internet boom & bust). The gym has always been an outlet for me and keeping the diet clean helps to eliminate the dependence on sugar highs to feel good about myself. If that much isn't in place, the AAS, as mentioned, is just a crutch that may give a feeling of well-being but the coming off part also introduces that roller coaster effect that may make things worse. The training & diet component are win-win regardless fo anything else so that's where I would be sure to put the emphasis and not sit around and wait to decide about whether to start cycling before getting back on it and KILL THAT SHIT!

But I'd also suggest getting a full physical & blood work just to have a good baseline of where you are considering you have passed the age 40 mark and low test could easily be a side issue that could be made less of an issue w/ the right treatment.

My first three days of my plan have went as planned. Lost 1.25 pounds. I am sure it is water weight. Had to take aspirin during my bike ride to keep away the headache. I needed to do more water. I made the mistake in not doing that.

Very valid and good points!! Will you marry me or is that too forward? LOL!

A lot of bros on here believe in going as far as you can naturally before using gear...well thats not me. BUT I am a believer in proving to yourself that you are serious before getting on any gear.

1 month of: oatmeal, chicken, steak, fish THATS IT

you do that, and you'll know you have the dedication necessary to get back on full force. then id run ephedrine for a few months and keep dieting hard, then worry about getting on any test.

Don't forget your veggies! :chomp:

well you realize theres a problem, thats great, now get off your ass and fix it!

you have the power to do this if you want it bad enough. how bad do you want it?

All systems are still trying to figure out what the heck is going on. Once you get a few reps in they'll remember to access the training response memories kept in deep storage.
