It was extremely heartbreaking he was my little boy. A very cute little shetland sheepdog that unfortunately suffered from seizures and one episode made him "gone".
Anyway, I got the bill today from the veterinarian - the day it happened she said to go home and not think about the bill. I always thought it would come but two weeks later when I never saw it I figured she let me off since I was there 1 week earlier and spent $180 trying for new treatment.
I know its a business, thats her livelihood, but if I was a veterinarian I wouldnt charge for having to put down a dog, I mean if your heart was in it to become a vet wouldnt it make sense that it would be the "right" thing to do without charging someone? I gladly accept the cremation charge but the euthanasia charge is immoral to me?
im rambling -sorry, i miss him.
