Isn't that pride? Isn't pride a sin?

You are miscontruing things now. I am accountable to God first.

no, you are being prideful and hard headed

Take time to think about it, and try to rationalize what really matters to you. Will you really be content with yourself if you two become distant knowing that all you had to do was put a few petty things aside.

Yes, I will. Because God comes first, family comes second. There is no negotiating.

God isn't the reason she's not around you anymore, you are
Think God is bitching when she listens to rap music?

So do you think that whatever happens with your relationship with your daughter is up to God?

God doesn't seem to be filling that void that you've said your daughters absence has left. Not putting your beliefs down, but I think you have gone to an extreme in this religion thing. You are going to slowly become the same alienated, angry person that you were trying to run away from by turning to God.

I am through discussing this. Non believers and believers do not see eye to eye and never will. If I lose her because of my faith in God, so be it. I have rules here, she has a choice of where she wants to live, in the pagan household or here with me. She has chosen the former for now. I will be fine regardless and I will always love her, but you people who have no faith or no knowledge of your faith, will not understand. GOD MUST COME FIRST.

So wrong, so wrong. You don't know how wrong you are.

I think I'm misunderstanding... I thought your daughter was opposed to your rules. What did the no cursing/no inappropriate music expectation have to do with religion? Were you two having disagreements regarding religion as well?
