That's not a bad lift at all man. Not at all. I've barely got you beat, if at all. What do you weigh? I can do like 405 for 6 or so at 188 and I was happy with that since I haven't trained for strength in a while. I weighed in a bit heavier today though wtf?

This is my point. Jh1 has always been an advocate for abs and having different fitness goals than the average meathead yet shows no constraint when it comes to bragging about an impressive lift for his size. That is meathead status.

Either way, post pics of your highly developed legs. I'm not talking a shot taken at your face and looking down in some weird myspace angle that makes your quad like distorted and huge like a twisted chunk of ham. Set up the camera, back off a few feet, flex your quads, let the timer do the trick. :qt:

Totally agree about who cares about the weight... I'm in it for definition that's it. I couldn't care less about how much weight I can lift - but my legs have gotten out from under me in the last 4 weeks... I can't even fit in my pants no more.

I ain't taking a pic of my legs to post here.. at least not yet. I may stop doing squats for awhile.. cause they are seriously getting annoying.
The only reason this post even came to me is the ridiculous strength I've gained... unfortunately it has been in my legs.

I sure as fuck wish it was coming in my chest instead....

I got some good ideas from my thread about upper middle chest... I gotta try out a bunch of stuff. I started at the top and working my way down... AAP's advice went first, because as far as development - that motherfucker brings its.

But his idea maybe what works for him, or may not really know shit cause he is just that genetically gifted and doesn't need anything that 'works'...


I'd pay about 10,000k for a chest about now though... fucking frustrating as hell.

I don't care about how much i can lift, but I know unless I lift more on my presses my chest won't grow.

i said you won't need to hit up THAT kind of weight before your chest responds. most likely, anyway. i can't see that, because you are quite far off from those numbers (i'm assuming), and you should almost certainly see gains before hitting that level of strength. i'll amend my prior statement by removing the word 'major'. who knows, maybe you will reach that kind of poundage in order to have the chest you want.

but of course, you'll need to keep up with that progressive resistance thing, regardless.

weight doesnt matter all that much once you get to a certain point in your training....if your goal is bodybuilding

I cannot imagine that anyone who knows how to isolate muscle groups properly and design a halfway decent training protocol would ever need to squat much over 3-4 plates for reps to build a tremendous pair of legs.

I tend to agree with this but there is definitely something to be said about being able to do more reps with a higher weight. Or I've fopund that always leads to the fastest/most efficient growth anyways.
