I call bullshit on keeping gains after a cycle!

Dude the more and more bigger you get the more and more AS you need to maintain and gain size.

So IMO I think you could keep gaining but the doses youd need to grow at that size would kill you. Try doing like 4grams of test a day hehehe....

The premise behind keeping gains after a cycle is simple. If you are past your natural genetic limit then you can keep nothing without further AS. If your genetics dictate that you can only hold x amount of muscle and you pass that with steroids, then obviously when you come off of them that extra muscle will eventually go.

There are 2 basic ways of using roids. Use them to reach your genetic limit faster or use them to pass your natural genetic limit. The latter will never be permanent, the former CAN be permanent provided you give your body what it needs to support the muscle it gains.

We all know that post cycle is probably the most important part yet many neglect it. This is when you will keep or lose gains. If you can get your HPTA started properly, support the new muscle with nutrients and lower training volume then you can usually keep that muscle. Long term obviously requires maintenance on that muscle, just as if you had gained it naturally. You can't gain 50 pounds of muscle and expect it to be permanent. Just the same you can't lose 50 pounds of fat and expect it to never come back. To keep either of these states you have to continue exercise and a correct diet.

Moral of the story: You can keep gains long term provided you keep working at it.

the key to keeping gains:

first off you will lose some of your strength and size..that is a given....BUT the key to keeping most and getting bigger on the next cycle is to train your ass off and have a strict diet between cycles...too many guys when they go off and lose gains will start slacking off in the gym and eating like shit....then when your ready to start your next cycle you will be just like when you started the previous one......in other words you keep spinning your wheels.....

gaining solid quality muscle will not happen overnight with one cycle...its a long process so when your off the gear train and eat just like you are on the shit that way you will hold most your gains and when you do your next cycle you will grow even bigger.

Look at the pro's. You think they are natural...

i train down at golds venice a couple days a week for the last 15 years and have met and talked to many many pros about gear...one thing i can say is that most of these guys never go off...they are always on something ..if you think these guys are looking like freaks from one or two cycles a year you are mistaken...

My last cycle I went from 235 to 260. It was a 16 week cycle and I used only fast acting gear (props, phenylprops, no esters, etc)...been 12 weeks since I've been off, and I'm only down to 250. So a solid 20 pounds isn't too bad, considering that I've been out of the gym for three weeks with a fuzzy ankle. Next cycle just around the corner, and I only hope to gain about 5 to 10 solid...so my opinion is that gains can be kept after a cycle, just depends what you use, how much you use, and how you treat your body after your cycle is over. Later =)

Carpin00 and anyone else wondering abou this check out this study. http://www.thinkmuscle.com/beta/articles/haycock/androgen-receptors-01.htm

This article explains the diminshed returns on successive cycles due to AS and its effect on androgen receptors. This is the first part of the study read the second one also and it should answer a lot of questions on why it takes more and more gear to get results and how the pro BB's can stay at a size so far over their natural potential.

I don't know about you guys but if I train for a year NATURAL and then quit for a few months I would lose all my gains so whats the difference.
