Oh my, I am so sick of eating!
OK, here's my deal! I'm 5'4", 134#, bodyfat unknown but I'm thinkin' below 20% (I do have some lines & definition).
My goal has been to clean up my eating, primarily remove sugar & up the protein - while losing fat & still gaining muscle.
I do cardio 3-4X per week for 40-50 min (HIIT one day), lift 3 days a week, yoga/pilates 1X and ballet class 1X (eh, it's my calf workout) . (almost all afternoon, so I eat most carbs earlier in the day).
I've been great with total elimination of sugar (outside of one cheat day a week, & then I still don't go too nuts). I'm aiming for 40% carbs, 30% p 30% f. Once I can maintain that (which I have for close to 4 weeks) I'll adjust from there as needed. I keep track of it all on fitday.com.
I'm getting about 130 - 150 grams protein a day, 1,800 - 2,200 cal depending on how much I'm working out. I figure on a day I do intense cardio & lifting, 2,200 is still not too much, especially as long as it's all clean. So if I'm hungry, I eat, so long as I don't get much higher than 2,200. Am I off base there?
Also, I'm eating more like 8 times per day rather than 6, does that matter?
