Re: i am overweight will halotestin or anavar help my strength increase while i d
I don't know exactly the answer to that, because I don't know exactly what your bodies caloric needs are. A good way to start a diet is to known your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR). This will help you know how many calories you need per day to gain, maintain, or lose. By your size and age I would say your BMR is around 2600, but do not quote me on that. So if you are moderitly active, work out 3-4 times a week, your daily calorie needs per day would be around 3900 to maintain your current weight. So yes, a diet at 2000 calories a day will help you steadily losing weight fast. I feel you could maybe eat a few more calories then that though, around 2500. You don't want to lose weight too fast, slow and steady wins the raise. Also with such an extreme calorie deficit, it will make it very hard to add on strength after your body adjusts, even with the help of supplements. Just make sure you manipulate your diet to get the best out of it. 5-8 meals a day, spread out through the day. Making sure you get a good amount of protein in each meal to keep your body anabolic, and only consume carbs when you most need them (breakfast, post workout). Cut them out gradually as the day comes to and end. 300 grams of protein is a good amount to shoot for.
Also to help with your fat loss, throw cardio sessions in when your body is most ready to burn fat. In the morning on an empty stomach, and directly after a good weight training session.
