i liked it. i would say a B. i did think that tried to stuff to much in too little of a time frame. i expected it to be longer and explain more like war of the worlds.
the ending didnt quite fit imo. but that dog sure got to my heart strings.
Agreed, it was like the were editing the movie the realized they hadn't put any action in so in a desperate effort the crammed the last 20 min with all the plot/action and then walked away.
It wasnt the editing, it was the worst writer in the world, Akive Goldsman, being hired to write the 2nd half of the script.
The original script was great...the entire movie was kinda like the first hour. It explored the mutants getting smarter. And Will Smith still died at the end.
I liked the part when he realized that he can't really save them and that it was his turn to die. I'm sappy for scenes like that when a person sacrifices themselves for the greater good.
It's also a little sad when he picks up the picture of his daughter right before he kills himself to save the girl and the child with the cure.
