How quickly can hairloss occur, and are there any warning signs?

On cycle, just how quickly / how much can hairloss occur? And are there any kind of warning signs, e.g. a dry scalp or something? or does it just start happening?

Can anyone give me examples of just how much they have lost on cycle, when they have lost hair?

Also, if it is lost, does it stop and/or come back post cycle?

D

Funny you should ask !!!

Day 3 of a test e cycle at only 250mg/ week and already I am experiencing hair shedding.

Can this really be possible so soon ????

I don't see how as the esters release the test slowly don't they? I realise that hair sheds in cycles so I shouldn't be seeing the impact of steroid use until further down the line or even post cycle ..... but I'm really not imagining it. Wish I was !

I know we shed hairs daily but I monitored this for weeks before I started the cycle and now there is a massive increase of hairs 'easily' falling into the sink and coming out with the 'pull test'. I know we shed in cycles but this is just too obvious to be a coincidence.

Anyone care to hazzard a guess at the concentration of test in my system now? It wouldn't be 250mg as it's a slow release ester would it? ... but then I guess there is also my natural test floating around which won't have been shut down yet.

I realise that even at TRT doses of say 100mg/ week hairloss is possible but I'm on Proscar at 2mg / day and I thought I'd escape most of the DHT.

Not good news.

Do you feel anything at all like scalp sensitivity in any way, or just notice the hairs coming out?

yeah, I was under the impression propecia/proscar blocked DHT conversion from the test.

No, I don't feel anything. Feels the same. I just know my hair and carefully monitored the shedding prior to this cycle as hairloss was a major factor to me.

Now whenever I ruffle my hair I will get a lot of healthy hairs in the sink which didn't happened before.

Propecia / Proscar blocks around 70% of dihydrotestosterone I believe but that 30% which isn't blocked has just increased 3 or 4 times in concentration since my first inject. I guess that's making a difference.

My main concern is not a slight all over general thinning (i think I can live with that) but more of the hairline receeding back.

Is the hairline creeping back something that is noticeable while on a cycle?

I would like to know this too. anyone?

I believe topical spironolactone supposed to block (or help block) the remaining DHT, I'm not sure how effective it is.. anyone have any experience with it?

Yeah me !

It's the 5% cream but I'm only able to apply it along the hairline as my hair is about 2 inches long and it's just impossible to apply to the mid scalp or crown as it just become stuck in the hair.

I've always has a thick, healthy head of hair (still do)... I ran a number of cycles including de-ca, proviron, test... never had a single hair fall out... then when I ran a test, d-bol, proviron, and N P P cycle, I had the worst side effects, including hair loss... it came pretty suddently, absolutely no warnings...I'd notice 5-10 strands of hair fall out every time I showered, every day... that was a big deal for me because I've never lost a strand of hair in my life... of course I freaked... I immediately ordered some MinSaw-A topical lotion (minoxidil, Saw Palmetto, Retinolic Acid) as well as spirinolactone... I used them for several months.... to be honest, I don't know that I noticed a huge difference, but to be fair, you're supposed to run this stuff for long periods of time... I wound up buzzing my hair... didn't lose any hair after that.... it's been almost a year now since.... my hair is fully grown back, no more shedding...

Long story short, your hair will likely all come back... unless you're genetically predisposed to lose it anyway, then A A S will just speed that process along. If you already have hairloss issues, stay away from strong androgens (tr-en, proviron, etc)... and you may want to start running hairloss products before you start cycling, during and well after.

Many say they start losing it two weeks after they start any test based cycle. Mine seems to get worse at the end of the cycle. In other words, I don't seem to lose much in the begining. I do take propecia year round and also use monoxidil. When I am on, I also use poly 80, it seems to help a bit.

I do shed on test but Dbol is the worst hair killer for me. One week at 30mgs and I am sheding like the family dog. No more for me.

I do shed on test but Dianabol - methandrostenolone - is the worst hair killer for me. One week at 30mgs and I am sheding like the family dog. No more for me.

What about post cycle, is it just getting thinner and thinner each cycle, or does it come back for you?
