How often do you hit the weights??

On my previous cycle I went to the gym EOD, with good results. This time I´m useing test on my stack, and training EOD also, but I fell that I shoul go more often...my recovery abilityes are great!!
 
3 days on 1 day off, I do this for a few months, then will go to 5 days 2 days off,


Often, I will work out 2 days and just have to take a day off, even when on gear.

I'm eating a alot right now and sleeping a good 9 hours a day, so have been able to maintain 3 days on 1 off.

2 nd week of d-bol, test and primo,

really feel a good pump
 
I train monday, tuesday, thursday and friday and do cardio on wednesday, sat and sunday. Works for me

I go 5 times a week. My routine looks like this now.
Monday:Quads and calves
Tuesday:Off
Wednesday:Chest and abs
Thursday:Back and hams
Friday:Off
Saturday:Shoulders and traps
Sunday:Biceps, triceps, and forearms

It's worked really well for me and allows me to focus on one bodypart instead of having to save energy for the next. I can go all out and not worry about fatigue. I include a smaller bodypart with each workout that doesn't include too much energy expenditure. It also allows for ampule recovery inbetween. Also it's planned out so that you don't have to worry about your bi's being sore while doing back etc...

mon:back&tris heavy
tues:shoulder&legs heavy
wed:chest&bis light
thurs:back&tris light
fri:shoulders&legs light
i have treid many variations of routines and this by far is the best for me:)
 
i train 5 days a week, whether on or off gear, and split it like this:
monday-chest
tues -back
wed -off
thurs -bis&tris
friday -shoulders
sat -legs
sun -off

Hey Mustang,

I like to hear that other guys are doing cardio 3x week like I do.
Can you give me the breakdown of how you work out with weights on the other 4 days?

I do the 3 days on 1 day off routine , workls great..

I ride my bike 4 miles to the gym and 4 miles back so I get my cardio out of that. I am pretty active so I get cardio involentarily playing sports and shit and just riding my bike everywhere...

I train 3 times week heavy duty style

monday: chest,shoulders, triceps, abs

Wednesday: legs

Friday: back, biceps, forearms and abs

Maybe i will try some different program soon. Like 4 times per week. Ir i could do one of those workout days 2 times week, like first week monday's workout 2 times etc.
 
3 days a week. Get much better results from this training split then any other split I've tried. Low sets, everything to failure

Monday : Legs, abs
Wednesday : Chest, Back, abs (chest & back done in compound sets)
Friday : Shoulders, Arms, abs (arms done in compund sets)
 
remember just because you on gear dosent mean your superman, ill go 3 on 1 off, ill change it up to a 4 on 1off and dont be afraid to sit a couple of days out on cycle it went to strong for a couple of weeks and needed about 4 days off from any training i kept growing and when i got back to the gym my strength was up realy good
 
everyones different, i gain best working out 3 days a week, givig it 4 days to recover. i use to wotkout 5 days a week, but i burn out after a couple months, when the gains stop, and my energy actually goes down.
 
I do pretty much the same routine split as M18. been doing it for almost aq year and had the best results with it...
 
Every other day. I always give my body at least one day to recover between any workout. I only do one body part every 10 days sometimes. I know it sounds weird but when I started I weighed 135lbs at 6', that was 4 years ago. For the first 3 years I trained 1 body part per week mon-fri and topped out at 170lbs this time last year. Then I started the EOD and sometimes every 2 days routine and right now I weigh in at 220lbs and I only went up 2% bf from last year.

So when I did the 5 day routine I gained about 35lbs in 3 years but my diet was shit the first year.

But when I switched to less training days per week I gained about 50 pounds in one year. Around 40 of it was muscle.

I've only met about 2 other people that do this type of split and are huge. For me less=more.

Just goes to show different strokes for different fokes.
 
sunday= legs-heavy shoulders-light
monday= chest-heavy tri's-light
tuesday= bi's-heavy back-light
wed= shoulders-heavy legs-light
thurs= tri's-heavy chest-light
friday= off
saturday= back-heavy bi's-light
cardio eod just for about 20mins before workout
abs eod after workout
 
I don't know looks like some of you are over training I let each muscle relax for a whole week. I basically Friday pull and Mon push and 3-4 times a week i so cardio
 
I recently started doing cardio and weight training 7 days a week. I figured it was worth trying. I didn`t expect to last long doin this,but I actually felt more energized when doin this. I guess it`s cause of my youth.
