I understand what you mean mac, but i do squats for quads just as i do benches for chest [and not triceps.]

For hams i do more direct work, as well as leg presses.

I do also do full squats Mac, as i said.

*** I was not talking about the muscles being targetted. I was pointing out that you were insinuating that a heavier weight is a prime prerequisite for muscular growth which it is , but not by itself.

MaGilicuti - A good amount of weight to sqaut for a 160 lb guy is anything more than you did in your last leg workout. Just focus on proper form and progress and don't get caught up in comparing numbers with other guys in the gym. Just my advice...take it for what you will. V3

Definately words to live by. People are more friendly on this board than on the anabolic board or chat board.

6'3''
190 lbs

335lbs twice last week

full squats, all the way down.

pretty good for me.

Haven't been working out that long.

I'm very pleased however

Uh? NO you don't... well ok let me rephrase: if you do grow up and be worlds strongest man. but telling me that you do 385lb full rep squats (in working sets no less?!?) at 15 years old and 160lbs is the most assinine load of crap I've heard on this board in quite a while.

I want pics.

I've squated 600 below parrallel, but have never tried anymore than that. Hannibal on here is gettin close to a 700lb squat.

I've done 222x20 (100 kilos), though at 16 years of age, I'm still rather wary of the spinal compression that going heavier then that can entail. So, I squat rather lightly, and work on form...
