There are a couple of new guys training with me now and they were learning to box squat today. One thing I had to yell at them while they were squatting was "knees out, knees out!!!" as loud as I could when they were doing there set. Could work...have a partner you trust yelling at you so that it sticks in your mind.
yes only when im going heavy, when i do get it down and keep them out nice and wide i seriously can smoke some stupid weight. i just need to keep practicing. thanks bro
best i ever did was 525. no knee wraps, just a belt. all natural. i weighed about 232. that was about 4 years ago. now my life is so hectic i barely find time to train at all, much less focus on being strong and trying to make progress!
davetsi, how do you squat in pants? i have those adidas pants too but i'm afraid they'll rip at the seams when i squat! they feel so tight and uncomfortable they kind of ruin my concentration.
I can do 275 pounds (125 kg) (very deep squat), but that's the same as my bench.
What is up with that? I'm going to drastically cut the cardio and try to bulk, so I'm hoping that this will mean greater leg recouperation and i will be able to improve. I've completely plateued on squats, despite the fact that i really enjoy the exercise
