so what do you think?

variety is spice of life

a few things to note -

1) you will get mighty bored of eating the same stuff each day....through in some tuna, lean steak, eggs, salmon, 93% lean burgers, ground turkey, low sodium boars head turkey, shrimp, and chicken....basically whole foods are much better than the MRP's but the MRPs are good for after working out and for in between meal snack

2) get rid of the milk.....milk makes you flabby...i dunno why...maybe the sugar from the lactose

3) dont use creatine - makes you retain water

whole foods - nutrient dense and caloric sparse......are the key

and dont forget the flax seed oil...high lignan! weeeeeee

1] Variety and moderation are the keys of succes

2] Add fiber (veggies & fruits)

3]Flax and/or fish oil instead of oilve oil

3] no creatine, more glutamine/BCAAs and ECA/Clen, +multi

4] Oatmeal is not the best carb post workout

okay so you guys are saying no creatine

Anthrax is once a day okay like 5 grams post workout?

also what would be an acceptable amount of glutamine

and bcaa's ...??? I have never taken those before.any recomondations as to dosing, and frequency?

also what is the best form of carb post workout?

Trade Star

I hear you on the milk,

and as far as variety would only changing the meat and vegitable variety on the shishkabab be enough?

maybe red meat one day, chicken the next, fish following that and so on..?

thanks guys

I am trying to get somewhere so all ears are open on this end

thanks:)

L-Glutamine: 5-10g

BCAAs = L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, and L-Valine: best taken post workout, the dosage depends on the products

as for postworkouts carbs: high GI carbs will trigger an insulin spike (that's what you want to gail lean body mass - muscle)

oatmeal is the best carb pre workout (1 - 2h before working out)

Newbie2building,

yes but insulin also cause AA (from protein) to build LBM after workout
You only want an insulin spike after workout

OMEGA,
For high GI carbs look here

keep the milk, it wont hurt your goals. trust me. i drink milk like its outta style and never has milk made me blubby. like i have said a million times, unless you are cutting for a show, milk is great for fat loss. keep the creatine, but only after your workout. even if you are trying to cut, your post workout shake should have plenty of carbs, such as dextrose carbs. example is cell -tech. along with 40-50 grams of protein. you need to throw i more food. the shakes your are having should never be considered a meal. your only taking in less than 700 calories from real food. you must increase that to drop bodyfat. try having a solid meal every 3 hours. and throw a shake immediately when waking up, after workout and right before sleep. it might sound like a lot of food, but 5-6 smaller meals along with shakes will do miracles for your body. dont rely on supps to get ripped. you can throw in a fatburner and thats all i would recommend. and the creatine and glutamine after workout. and throw in some flaxseed oil, or eat fish at least 4 times a week. you need fat to lose fat. and definately more veggies. increase fiber to at least 25-30 grms a day. but start slowly, you dont want to shit out your intestines. just eat plenty of clean foods and your body will transform within no time.

OK, I have also been questioning my pre and post WO foods.

I have decided on cup of oatmeal with a scoop of whey 1 1/2 hours before WO. 35g protein/54g carbs/6g fat.

Post WO I take EAS simply gain because it seems to be a lower calorie gainer. I am cutting for the next week or so, but I thought I needed a little more post WO nutrients. I add a scoop of whey to this. Totals-45g pro/48g carbs/8g fat. The simply gain has dextrose as it's main source for carbs so I decided to give it a try. Tastes pretty good too.

I know this ins't my thread, but does this sound good to you guys?
