How did the DEA read my E-mail?

OK. Simple solution. Get an OS that works from your CD drive and writes nothing to disk when performing an activity that you don't want people to find out about. They are free. Check out this site:

Yep. I have a 50 gallon drum in my back yard with 5 gallon gas can beside it. Shit hits the fan I rip my hard drive out and torch it. I can’t get the drive out fast enough I torch the whole computer.

Incase someone decides to get me by surprise I guess I have to hope drive crypt and bc wipe have helped me out some at least. My whole fucking operating system is encrypted so least I did not make it easy for them.

ulter is right. The only way to really get rid of the info on your hard drive (and I'm serious) is to melt it. remove your hard disk, put in an iron bucket or something similar. Drop some kerosen (or anything that can bring high temperature) and there you go. As long as you can reach 600 degrees Celsius you're Ok.

Re: mmmmm

Yep. I get a new raptor 10k rpm HD every other month. :)

lets see. New hard drive 99.99$ for 60 gigs plus a 20 dollar mail in rebate.

Lawyer for a case where it is helped by evidence on you hard drive, plus fines if convicted easily into the thousands of dollars.

Logical choice, burn the hard drive forget all the "washer programs", why risk it?

If its important (real shit situation, and you are pretty sure somethings up)

then fuck all this software and programs, and do the simpliest and most effective way----smash the bitch up, throw it in a metal drum, throw some garbage in there (just for sustaining the fire) add gas, light it up, keep adding more trash, problem solved. (however if you are paranoid this could get quite pricey)

From now on, make sure that any computer you use has hotswappable drives as your primary hard drive. You simply have one hard drive that has legit stuff and one hard drive that has all of you legally suspect stuff. If you sense or find out that you are going to be in trouble, pull out the bad hard drive and smash the hell out of it with a sledge hammer and put in the legit hard drive. They can search through your IP but if it isn't on your hard drive, they would have a tough time proving you did something wrong.

If were buying stuff over the net, etc., I would do the simplest route....use a public computer at a coffee shop or library, etc.
Like the Canadian said, they don't need your home computer, they can track everything from your ISP. And while hushmail may be safer than MS Outlook, I've read many times that LE can crack that too.

You can say that again. Who says we're living in a free country. You can't go to a fuckin pharmacy and buy syringes anymore in my town and that is no shit

no doubt, our freedoms are taken away all the time. all we can do is sit back and watch our rights slilp away...one at a time. they make 1-ad illegal, they take away our firearm freedom :worried: s i am sure many more freedomes will be removed :worried:

there is a reason cryptologic facilities keep a small sledge hammer, a crowbar, and a blender/shredder in each "closed area"..

ONLY physical destruction of the the drive will keep prying eyes from seeing what is on it... Trust me...

Our drives are the "pull out" type.. With a little handle attached, for instant removal and destruction.. That is the only way to get rid of data and make it unaccessable..Period..

Anything you write on a drive is somewhat re-readable ubtil the drive is physically destroyed by smashing, burning, or other methods..

all the "washer" programs are good for is from keeping your wife or husband from seeimg what you have viewed..

Want to destroy a hard drive then what you need to do is Drill as many holes as you can through it where the drill goes through the layers of disk, i have been told this is a pretty good way to make sure the data cannot be retrived from it.
