Try to find "whole grain" whole wheat and check the ingredients and make sure it doesn't say enriched.
Man, that sucks. I didn't know that. I've been eating "12 grain" bread for some time now. I thought it was low gi. But it says "enriched flour" on the ingredients. Might as well have been eating french bread all this time.
