Home Made Weight Gainer for Training: Need Ideas

OK folks,

I am heading to the store in 15 minutes to pick up some ingredients for a weight gainer. Here is what I had in mind:

1 gallon of milk
1 5lb bucket of Blue Bell Ice Cream
1 jar of Malt
1 plastic container of Lou Anna's Canola oil:D
1 jar of Ovaltine.

Please list other ingredients I should pick up:fro:

BTW, this will help enhance recovery from training.

Peanut butter, bananas, vanilla essence (trust me :D), oats (yes!), psyllium husks (might be necessary sometimes ;)), strawberries, orange juice...

All have their uses in various shakes!

Blue Bell ice cream is the shit! Whenever I go down to the south, I load up on that and Mexican food. I cant get enough. I wish we had it up here.

I created a delicious shake last night. It looks like I can add 2 or 3 of these a day. This would add nearly 2000 or 3000 calories to my diet.

Here is the recipe that I used:

2 cups of Milk
1 Cup of Vanilla Icecream
4 TB of Malted Milk
4 TB of Nestle Quick Powder
1/4 Cup of Canola Oil
4 Strawberries

Optional Ingredients:
- peanut butter
- honey
- bananas

Overall, the shake is smoothed and chilled. . .it goes down easy and has a rich taste. This shake has it all. . plenty of carbs, fats, and proteins.
