I love mud...I love water...I pray to see the pit soon :)

too bad I probably wont get to see ranger school for 6-10months after I get done with RIP. Hopefully I'll get into a good Commo shop and have a Commo chief that thinks I'm squared away cause I want to get into it. Just that gut feeling that not being tabbed out will suck the longer I'm wearing the scroll and wearing the tan beret without it.

Well I finished the last of the qualifying today, the next 2 days we practice the mock exits and Sat we make our first jump. A week from 2morrow I'll be getting those Silver Wings pinned on. My girlfriend will be flying in for graduation so I'll be sure to take some good pics of her pinning them on. The pics will be developed soon after I take them next week and should be posted on here by July 4 no later then the 5th.

*morbidly curious about terms like "worm pit" and "changing the channel"*

:D

Worm Pit / Malvesti = a muddy shitty watery obstacle course you will crawl through at Ranger Training Brigade / Ft Benning. It sucks but it is kinda fun if you take it with a grain of salt..

change the channel = a stupid PT exercise you may never ever do, a subset of teh exercise known as "watching TV". Don't worry about this one.

TX - good luck bro. eyes open.....

Let us not forget the " Jo Jo the Ducks" and the " B-52's" all are great exercises and fun at parties.....heh heh heh

I'm getting pretty amped about all this! Thatnks to all the guys posting here.

I just found out that as an officer, I'll be pushed to go to Ranger School as it weighs in greatly for my promotions. Oh no! Don't send me to Ranger School! (dripping with sarcasm)

I know it'll be tough but I just have the weird drive inside to push myself as hard as I can. I want to know my breaking point and I haven't found it on my own. I'm sure those guys will find it then push it to a higher point. :D

How much hand to hand combat do you learn/practice in Ranger School?
