dear girl, based on the quoted paragraph, it doesn't really matter what caused the heart attack, tell your husband that the combination of screwed up hormones, bad genes and periodically shitty eating habits caused it and if he wants to live long enough to hit the half century mark he better get his act together and care more about his health than his appearance.
At least that's what i'd do if it was my husband.
Questions about correlation of having a heart attack and recently ending a cycle....
Husband..28, otherwise healthy, no medical history, first true cycle, he did a cycle of dbol 5 years ago with no pct or any real dosing(yeah he wasnt smart then so I did the research for him this time) He just finished his cycle about 1.5weeks ago, he had a heart attack monday morning....
10week cycle
200mg test prop 3x/wk
not sure but I think 200mg tren ace 3x/wk
T-3 25mcg tapered up to 50mcg throughout cycle and upon ending cycle he lowered to 25, currently at 25 then 1 more week down to 0
Aromasin 20mcg throughout
currently doing pct-his buddy hooked him up with this not sure what hes taking, but I know hes still taking aromasin but at 30mcg/day, its week 2 of pct
he just had a heart attack on monday morning...is this from coming off a cycle and things being out of whack?? or no correlation at all?? Is there other things he needs to add to help him? He didnt use anything for liver like milk thistle, etc, no gyno, more of a recomp this cycle, lost some bodyfat and kept/gained muscle.
please dont flame me lol, it was hard enough getting him to follow a proper diet while using, let alone taking all precautions for pct and throughout cycle. I want advice and/or comments on if the heart attack was related to the steroids. thanks
thanks for all the responses...yes every man in his family has died by the age of 50, his dad is 48 and has had 5 heart attacks..
it was very mild, and no the doctors didnt go into any details-they put him on prilosec and they ran a bunch of tests I will post when we get them back
Yes an aggressive beginners cycle-I KNOW..hey Im his wife, i can only control so many things...I got it "down" to just those two with some reasoning-and also because of his family history I wouldnt let him take clen for the heart related issues
I came on here because I like advice from this site, and also because of his job he cant talk to the doctors about steroids, we may consult with an out of network doctor and discuss things depending on the test results and what the doctors say-to me prilosec isnt gonna cut it, but his cholesterol and triglycerides were high in the past, and I know he had blood pressure issues because he was always complaining about being dizzy and headaches.
Ive tried putting him on one of my diets and supplements like Needtoslin(which I love btw) Im not making excuses but his bodytype is really weird...hes extremely skinny in the legs and his stomach always looks really soft and bloated-fat-I think 36in? But his butt/hip cirumference would be like 30inI KNOW hes never been under 15%bf just by looking at him you can tell. but his upper body and arms are really good size 19in arms.
--Ive tried the palumbo diet for him, also just a general low carb approach with 2 beverly style refeed meals per week, nothing seems to be helping get him in better shape..What other diets can I put him on? Im currently doing 40/30/30 and sitting comfortably at about 14%bf, I have no problems with getting and staying in shape, him on the other hand, Im lost.
To most everyone on this site it is obvious the steroids were a bad idea, but somehow he cant connect steroids to having ANY negative sides, he had bad acne and was suprised when I suggested the steroids were causing it, I guess Im here to try and clean up the damage, also to note that maybe this will be a good example for those not ready for AAS to take more precautions, but sadly the people who need to hear a story like this are not the ones here, its the vets who have the knowledge and experience reading this thinking WOW, another one...
