I have recently picked up a few things for my hair
-finasteride (was already taking)
-Minoxidil
-Nizoral

my question is what are the correct dosages for the Minoxidil and Nizoral - how often is the nizoral used?
I was prescribed 5mg of the minoxidil a day (2.5 2X/day) but they said this may increase to 10mg/day

Minoxidil is a very potent medicine for high blood pressure, make sure you don't become dizzy or light headed. It can be used anywhere from 5 to 20 mg per day (for high blood pressure).
Finasteride 1 to 5 mg a day.
Nizoral 2% 1-2/week.

confused ? Minoxidil is liquid. (unless there is a new product out there) so it
should be ml. not mg. They used to say 1ml twice a day. I noticed my hair
thining when I was 22. I'm now 47. I use minoxidil 1time a day (I should probably
use twice) I use enough to get all thining area's wet. (about 2-3 ml) Finistride
I just bumped to 2 1/2 mg a day. (1/2 of a 5 mg tab). My hair is still thining
but really, really slow. Almost no fallout. Still looks like I got a lot up there.
Cheapest price for both I found at - www.DiscountMinoxidil.com - Hope that's
O.K. to post. If anyone has cheaper price let me know.

I you really want to stop hairloss..use dutasteride..much more potent than finasteride...than you can also use minoxidil on your scalp to boost your hair

There was this thread about using caffeine in your hair- it's supposed to be really effective... A great article in a leading English newspaper. Immagine how great if you could throw those other chemicals and just poor s cup of light blend on your scalp?

Minoxidil does come in tablet form with a prescription here in Canada - also in liquid without a script.

if you're already taking a 5ar-inhibitor, i don't see why you shouldn't take the next step in getting a dual 5ar, plus finasteride lowers serum dht by 70% while dutasteride does 90%
some use the niz eod some once a week...whatever your scalp can handle
you might want to add some topical spiro too for the anti-androgen

Minoxidil's original use was for high blood pressure in the form of tablets. When it was seen to cause hair growth all over the body, then it was studied as a solution (liquid) on scalp, and was found to have some effect that way too.

Good info bro's, but i also do think dutasteride works better at least on the chart. Never used it (no money as its expensive) I did however use finasteride at 1mg daily while off cycle, and 2.5 mgs a day while on cycle (testosterone to be exact). I do not think that you would need it with milder AAS's like EQ, Primo and Var. I heard that you shouldnt take it with Deca though as it makes condition worse.

Nizoral i would recommend 2-3 times a week with some good conditioner.

Minoxidil in liquid form is the best (i've tried both) and done twice daily. Mornings after the shower (on a dry scalp off course) and evenings before you go to sleep.

Morning 5% evening 5% with azelaic acid.(one of the best DHT inhibitors)

I also heard Poly-Sorbate shampoo works fine and Folligen after (5 min) the minoxidil is quite great improvement over minoxidil alone.

I also have the same problem as you guys. No family history of MBP but shed like a dog on test and d-bol. Smaller problem on Test and EQ.


What does that all say, ............................no more Test for me and same goes for drol and dbol. So i guess its deca, var, eq and primo for me. Not bad but im gonna miss the old dirty bastart (sust)
