Had a consultation, need an opinion

So I went to see a plastic surgeon about my gyno and he is gonna charge me $3900 from the usual $4,500 that he normally charges. He said it includes lipo and removal of a portion of the gland and he showed me the small incisions he would be making. I really wanted to whole gland removed but he said if someone were to remove all of the gland, it could potentially leave you with a larged depressed area in the breast, which is obviously not desirable. He also wants to put me under general anastesia, which I really didn't want. Anyways, does this sound about right to anyone about the gland removal?

Yes this is correct. I can speak from my experiences in medical school and having had the surgery myself. Don't worry about general anesthesia. It may be scarier, but it's extremely safe with much fewer complications than something like a local block. Good luck!
