Growing my hair back

Banned
I have been shaving my head for quite sometime and it is a good thing because gear has thinned my hair. I recently got engaged and my fiancé would prefer if I had hair for our wedding which is in 13 months. She knows everything and knows that it might not be possible but I'd like to try for her. I'm looking for help from anyone who has tried to bring back the mop and had success. My mom is a hair dresser and she told me to use Nioxin but she doesn't know about the supplements and I'm not going to tell her. Any help you guys can give me will be appreciated.

WIG? lol..kidding bro...dont know..i think bald is sexy..i shave my head period...

dutasteride or finasteride for thinning hairloss. i used finasteride along with minoxidil and retin-a and it grew stubble on my hairline, but tht was along time ago. the regimen was too expensive n tedious and it burned my scalp so i dealt with the hairloss

your fuct bro..... either get a transplant or a wig, I shaved mine about a month back and I'm lovin it

Well it depends on a few things. Are you taking gear now? If so, what kind? Saw Palmetto extract seems to be mildly effective with any kind of gear because it has been shown to regulate the activity of androgens at the receptors, so it doesn't matter what androgen is attacking the follicle (dht, winny, proviron, etc.). Remember, I said this had a mild effect. Some androgens are just too heavy for Saw Palmetto to have much effect. Also, finasteride will help as long as you're not on gear, or as long as you're only on some kind of test. I don't recommend dutasteride. You probably want at least some of your libido leading up to your wedding night. Definitely check out nioxin products for hair cleansing. As for topicals, go to xandrox.com and a fill out the form to get a script for topical spiro, and topical xandrox. If you do all of these things, and stay off the gear, you should be able to recover a decent amount of hair in 13 months. Make sure you're getting plenty of b-complex vitamins too.

Thanks Bro. Yeah i'm on Test and Deca right now but only one more week of the deca and then 4-5 to let most of it clear my system. I'll try out those topicals.

Don't take finasteride with deca!

I would start off by using minoxidil right away and use it aggressively. You can get Kirkland brand cheap. It comes in 60ml bottles of 5% minoxidil and each bottle is supposed to last 1 month. But you should apply in larger quantities to maximize the effect, so each bottle will probably only last 2 weeks or so.

In addition, go to www. minoxidil.com. They sell 5% with Retin-a and also 5% with azalelic acid. You will want to try to purchase a few bottles of these and then mix some of the retin-a solution with the Kirkland brand.

When you apply it in larger doses, it helps to reduce the concentration of retin-a or azalelic acid. Otherwise, you will get inflammation and your scalp may peel.

You should use it twice a day. I only use once with good results. But I apply 4ml at night. Part of it is wasted because I do have hair and a lot of it doesn't make it to the scalp.

That is why it might be best to keep your head shaved or very short to help make sure that the solution makes it to your scalp.

You should also get some proscar/propecia tabs. But they can have some side effects.

I don't know if I just respond well to minoxidil or if the fact that I don't skimp on the amount I apply but I have gotten good results for 8 years or so.

Also you will have to get off of the AAS. You hair will continue too thin out even when if you are using minoxidil.

Good luck.

minoxidil.com is the same as xandrox.com

Here is what I ordered.
1 Nizoral Bottle
1 Minoxidil Bottle
2 Azelaic Acid & Minoxidil Bottles
Polysorbate 80 Shampoo
Spironolactone 5%
Finasteride 2%

I'm making a hair growth cocktail. Wish me luck.

And I know not to use the Finasteride for at least 2 months the deca has cleared my system.

Make sure to run the minoxidil consistently and don't get impatient. It takes a couple of months to see results. Results are not just the fact that hair will come back but also existing hairs thicken.

The difference for me running minoxidil is night and day. When I stopped using for 4-6 months, I have people start asking me if I am losing my hair. While when I am on it, people comment that I am lucking that I have all my hair (I am 42).

I'm patient..I have 13 months and live in upstate NY where we have winter 7 months of the year so if there was ever a time to grow my hair back it is now.

I hope this helps you bro.

Michael Hollick, MD, Ph.D., Professor of Medicine, Physiology, and Dermatology at Boston University School of Medicine conducted a study involving emu oil and hair growth. His study found that there was a 20% increase in growth activity of skin that received emu oil, compared to skin that received corn oil. Looking at the hair follicles, Dr. Hollick realized they were much more robust, the skin thickness was remarkably increased, suggesting that emu oil stimulated skin growth and hair growth. Additionally, the study showed that over 80% of hair follicles that had been "asleep" were woken up, and began growing. This is what emu oil may do for you

I will make a not of it and when the other stuff is gone if it hasn't been effective I'll try this. Thanks bro

My hairline started showing signs of damage around 4 years ago, mainly after a heavy test cycle. Since then I've tried various stuff, Nizoral, retin A, Proscar and Avodart. I saw some results with Nizoral and proscar (0.5 tab a day), basically just a cessation of hairloss though, minimal regrowth. After around a 2 years or so though I'm sure it started falling out again

I've since dropped swapped the proscar for Avodart and TBH have been well chuffed with the results. I take the nominal 0.5mg a day and the results have been pretty phenomonal. I have regained pretty much all the hair I had previously lost in only 6 months, all the small thinning areas in hairline have gone. You would never know I was fighting hairloss only a few years ago.

:)

Alot better thanks fergie. Kind of wondered if I did the right thing getting a hair transplant, but the results are kicking in. You'll never see the boyhood head of hair again, but a decent result! Anyhow, I'm too busy to go shaving my head and its cold here in England!!
