Great, now everyone is going to want to take steroids

That's what made the 60's and 70's so magical. Few people worked out so a weight trainedbody was something special. Add to it, this was the time when the pros first started using steroids and it was just the freakiest thing in the world!!! Today, everybody trains and millions take steroids and in 20 years every guy will be expected to be muscular, just like it's become expected for a woman to correct a big nose or small breasts.

i am not sure--i think the legal and cost aspect will still keep many away--but i do think they will be a spike in people taking then w/o diet and workout in check, so they will just end up fat, bald, and acne scarred.

You're kinda contradicting yourself there. :) The legalities and cost will keep people away? (Just like now, huh). But more people will do them without diet and training in check? Plenty do that now.

yea, i guess i did--what i mean is the barriers that are in place now will still keep the majority away, but there may be a few more that make the jump b/c of the recent publicity. i suggest that these are the same people that see gear as instant muscles or a ticket to the big leagues.

I think will always be a core group or number that will use gear, but i think the biggest growth may be seen as more and more baby boomers try hrt and it trickles down to younger and younger men.

there will be more roid use, but it will be jsut like it is now, the people who use them will get bigger but will fail to attain the physiques they are looking for because even with gear there is a lot that has to be done as an overall commitment to building an amazing physique.

i know a lot of people who've juiced, very few of them have ever attained what i would consider an ideal build... but i dunno... i mean more women and men get plastic surgery and shit every year i think steroid use will inevitably increase, especially with regards to the "grey area" prohormones and designers...

Its the old perception of AAS being muscle in an amp or tab. So many really believe by taking a tab of Dbol each day they will by default look like Ronnie Coleman within 6 weeks.

With that perceived end goal then the legality and price surrounding AAS will not stop them. The negative press will not stop the average user as the perceived gain is too great.

The only real way is education on how much work is really required to get a decent body and AAS are a small part of that and not a direct easy route will stop the average user who in reality would achieve more by getting diet and training correct

Wrongun!

Steroids are becoming so "popular" in the media these days that pretty much EVERYBODY is familiar with them now. Average people who don't even work out understand what they do and how they work.

Doesn't the FBI, DEA, and the media realize that all they are doing is advertising steroids and how great they are? lol

I think we are about to see a HUGE increase in steroid use now by kids, teens, adults, hell even old folks.

Its pretty ridiculous. I see guys walking around my gym wearing Bodybuilding.com t-shirts! lol Basically advertising that they use gear. And these aren't huge bodybuilders either, just regular guys/gals.

Do I have a problem with this? Well, not really. But I think the days of average people being mystified by the look of people like "us" is gone. Its no secret anymore. Pretty much anyone can tell now that if someone has above average muscles and vascularity, they are on gear.

Your thoughts...

i know exactly wat u mean. even my gf comments on almost ALL big guys we see when were out together. before she wouldnt have known shit about aas, but since she met me she would say things like ' look at the size of that guy, he must take that stuff ur on' lol. in her eyes theres no such thing as natty anymore.

Like all things that get blown up in the media...this too will soon pass. The media will move on to the next "big" thing, and nobody will really remember all of this in 2-3 years time.

^^^ yep I see that shit all the time and its fucking retarded. But I can't say a whole lot cuz my first 3 cycles were not a complete waste but definitely wish I did them different. Cuz I did just that, I was young dumb and full of.... Knowledge. Haha thought that if I did anabolic androgenic steroids I didn't need to eat clean or change anything. Just wanted to party and stick myself with a needle ages times a week and have the perfect body. But eventually I realized that in conjunction with anabolic androgenic steroids I needed to embrace fitness as a whole lifestyle. Now I do and I'm fucking jakked cut and vascular like never be4.

Hey Jumpmaster82,

I dont know if this is to personal but does anyone ever ask anything i mean being in the army and all. I am just curious i am in the military as well, havnt gotten on a cycle yet but i know i will here in the next year.
