The general consensus with those types of cars are
Japanese cars rarely break, offer the most luxurious and comfortable ride. Though not as "race-like" or aggressive as German cars.
German and European cars are stiffer and more aggressive. Want to be driven harder. But can rack up electronics issues and are expensive to maintain and fix if not under warranty
Obviously there are exceptions to this. My father owns a few body shops and car lots so this is a general overview.
I prefer German cars due to the feel of the road, suspension and drive.
It's really all preference.
