LOL you say "married by 2013" as if that's a bad thing. I think it's cool that Glad is willing to be at least open minded about a feint possibility of getting back together with her. Honestly, if I was in his position, I would have a feeling deep down inside that I owed it to my family to see if there was a future.

Like I said before, I know a guy who had a kid at 19. He married his GF, even when they really didn't like each other at all. It made both of them grow up fast, and 10-11 years later they're still together. Now, how happy their real marriage is behind closed doors, who knows, but it can be done.

If Glad is patient with it, and realistic that there's basically a 0% chance of her becoming truly different, then I see no problem with it.

Never said it was a bad thing, just that Glad is wrong.

My good buddy went through the same thing you described - he was engaged for a year, broke it off, and had break up sex the same night. That got her good and preggo. They didnt get along but got married after the kid came. They just had their second 8 months ago and are living well together.

she just wants to start partying again ASAP

I'm sure you're right. And breast milk isn't better for baby when it's loaded with alcohol.

They don't always instinctively know how to latch properly. Your girl should have had a lactation consultant come by while she was in the hospital. Also, First 5 California will stop by for a visit, and a lactation consultant should be calling her soon from them as well. Their lac consult can come by as well. Of course all that is free to her thanks to the great state of CA. She can call them as well, I'm sure.

Breast milk is free bro. And it's better for the baby.

Note reviewed. Agree with assessment and plan as above.

It's hard notto get carried away ith all the cool cute baby stuff, but remember he'll grow out of it to quick so keep it simple, get him other thing that will complement his nutrition and well being (good car seats, good diapers, wipes, etc, babyfood, those holster/sling things to carry them hands free, etc)
